Bernardo Silva's Late Goal Keeps Manchester City's Double Hopes Alive

City Bounce Back from Champions League Disappointment

Silva Makes Amends for Midweek Penalty Miss

Bernardo Silva scored a late goal to keep Manchester City's hopes of a domestic double alive as they beat Chelsea 1-0 in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium.

City, who were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid in midweek, dominated the game but were frustrated by a resolute Chelsea defence.

However, Silva's goal in the 80th minute proved to be the difference as City booked their place in the final against Liverpool.

City manager Pep Guardiola said he was delighted with his team's performance.

"We played really well today," Guardiola said. "We created a lot of chances and deserved to win."

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel admitted that his team were second best on the day.

"We were not at our best today," Tuchel said. "City were the better team and deserved to win."

The win takes City one step closer to completing a domestic double. They are currently top of the Premier League table and will face Liverpool in the FA Cup final on May 28.
